"Space" characters:

0160 is the non-breaking space. The following work in MS Word but don't seem to work in plain text (e.g. Notepad).
Thin space, which is very slightly less than a standard space: U+2009 (8201 decimal, entered by holding Alt

key while typing 8201 on numeric keypad)
Hair space, which appears to be about a half-space: U+200A (8202 decimal)

Math:

Read Character Unicode ASCII (in Word) URL HTML (others)
Square root U+221A
√
%E2%88%9A √
Cube root U+221B
∛
%E2%88%9B
Fourth root U+221C
∜
%E2%88%9C

Divided by: ÷ (alt-0247)
Minus: − (alt-8722 in Word; looks clearer than using a simple dash)
Times: × (alt-0215 in Word; looks "cleaner" than using the letter "x")

"ASCII Table" poses a question: What sort of father would send his son to die on a cross? Sick. Please, don't "rationalize" that. Now that some weirdo has submitted this provocative question, let's ask another one. What sort of husband tells his wife what to wear on her face.? Seriously, man, that's a little f'd up.
